Vevey (10 mins) - Charlie Chaplin’s town with a very charming old town, full of cafes and restaurants, as well as activities for children in case it is raining

Montreux (20 mins) - Montreux Jazz festival’s city, with lovely walk path by the Lake Leman

Lausanne (25 min) is a vibrant city and its setting is extremely picturesque. Sports and culture are given a high profile in the Olympic capital.

The Mont Pèlerin (5 min) small mountain just above Chardonne and the Plein Ciel tower – an elevator offering a panoramic views of the region

Les Pleiades, Les Avants or Les Rochers de Naye (30 min), beautiful mountains with very easy access by train and funicular

Les Paccots (25 min) - a very accessible mountain in Fribourg region, only 25 minutes from Chardonne for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter
